I just finished reading your book,NEVER GIVE UP.
A great and inspirational book.
I heard you speaking at a church in Calgary,Alberta, a few weeks ago– I was visiting my son and his wife and it was her and I who heard you that morning.
Thank you SO much for that awesome talk and for your book.
I know that you give God the credit for how your life is goin. But I just want to say that I admire you for having the courage to have lived the awesome life that you have.
May God keep blessing you and your family.

WOW! I was at your speech today, at JP2 and I just had to come on and say.. there is so much that you could be complaining about and yet you have the best attitude that I’ve seen.. anywhere. Also, what you were talking about with God and everyone has a purpose… the only other time I’ve ever heard being catholic put in that way is from my dad. Everywhere else I find that people make it sound like it’s our duty to do this and it’s our duty to do that. I just want to say that you really inspired me to keep going in whatever I do, no matter what comes up! Thanx SOOOOOO MUCH!

Thanks Ron – I’m one who gets depressed and feels sorry for myself because things aren’t the way I planned in life. I have anger issues re my husband leaving full time ministry many years ago. Being “Pastor Barry’s Wife” and working in the church was my identity. I’ve been working on many issues in my life and you gave me the inspiration to be joyful, not to dwell on the things that you would like to be, but rather on the things are that good and on what God wants for me at this stage in my life- that God has a plan for me. Keep up the good work Ron! God Bless!

dear ron, my brother took his own life,a few years later my best friend and sister died of a heart attach. i walked thru life each day in pain, just when i started to smile again my parents died and my older brother shot himself all in a six month period. last week my nephew was told he has brain cancer,he is twentyfour. my marriage ended after twenty years, and there has been much more pain but if i told you you would think this was fiction. every day i wake up hurting and go to bed mostly crying, and i am a believer in Jesus Christ. Thank you for opening my eyes wide enough to see Gods blessings. Tomorrow i will wake up with a smile and go to bed with a song in my heart all because you are a gift from God to me! I ALSO CAME CLOSE TO DIEING, IN 2003, I HAD FORTY BLOOD CLOTS TO HIT BOTH MY LUNGS,BUT THE LOVE AND GRACE OF JESUS LET ME LIVE, TO RAISE MY BOYS AND TO BE ABLE TO HELP MY HUSBAND. YOU SEE JESUS KNEW THE FUTURE, I LOVE YOUR MOTTO, DON’T GIVE UP, AND WITH GOD MERCY WE HAVE OVERCAME ALOT OF PROBLEMS. MY HUSBAND IS ABLE TO TAKE CARE OF HIMSEL, EVEN WITH NO LEGS. WE DON’T TAKE NOTHING FOR GRANTED. EVERYTHING IS A GIFT FROM JESUS.

I know it’s not about me, however hearing a child say to you I wanted to commit suicide and because of you I didn’t. That is compelling. I grew up feeling worthless. I am 49 yrars old and do havepity parties still. Through you My new vehicle , I will learn not to. This is the least I can do for you. I thank you for your story, your compassion , your adversity. It is something when your two teenage boys insist that you take time out of your busy schedule to look at a website. Not just any old website, but one that belongs to a man that they truly admire and respect.
You spoke to their school the other day and you will be happy to know that they just cannot stop talking about you! One of my kids bought a painting that you did of an eagle flying over mountians. Proudly, he told us all about you and your accomplishments. He then gave the painting to his 78 year old grandfather as a gift. Not because it was his birthday or a Christmas present. Simply for the reason that you had touched my young sons life and he wanted to make sure that your message was shared with the whole family.
Thank you…for just being you.

Thank you Ron for taking the time to make a difference, to be a legacy in your own time and to continue and not quit even when that would have been easier. Your gift for speaking and being able to touch others lives and their hearts is a generous gift you share, and I thank you for that. Your talent for art and seeing the beauty in creation and putting it on canvas is another gift you so generously share. The time you take in your life to make a difference today, means so very much, to think of the possibilities if all creation would continue to act on the positives rather than the negatives as you choose to do daily . Your attitude is uplifting and contagious as well, and that is such a beautiful thing to share,,not to keep it however to share it,,so maybe just one more,,will also choose to share theirs, and another and another, and the attitude of living a life full of positive choice and grace and gratitude will be passed on and passed forward,,to your children, to mine ,,to me. Again, I thank you , for waking up one more day, and choosing to smile with me today for just one more day…… Serenitymb

Hey there! My name is Mollie-Joy Moore and you came and spoke to my school, Eastbrook in England, today. You moved all of us and left the majority in tears and within deep thought throughout the day. Especially me. When i was younger, I am now 16, my dad was a drug addict and i lost him for a long time but now, thank God, I have him back. Not as a drug addict but finally as my Dad. When he was involved in this life he lost himself and I lost part of myself which even he has struggled to bring back for me. But I found myself listening to you, understanding and admiring, and I felt release, the last piece of the puzzle re-fitted. I now, Ron, feel complete.
Thank You.
God Bless…

You are the greatest insperation of my life.
you insperational speach was what i really needed in my life after you visited my high school ffch in colorado you really gave me an aditude adjustment your perspective of life is what everone needs and i am also reading your book at the moment and it reminds me of my little brother because he is also has a trache and was on a vent and has both a gastric and jujunal tube and he’s only 4 years old and had it since he was 1 year old and got his trache taken out on his 5th birthday, but still has to do alot of therapy at childrens hospital in Minneapolis,Minnesota, and as i was reading your book it made me think of what my little brother wanted to tell my mother and i along with other friends and family and your mother which is a wonderful person by the way reminded me so much of my mother in many many ways strong godful christian and as your mother was by your side is the same way my mother was with my little brother and its kinda funny because whenever i feel down or bad about life my mom tells me to turn to my bible and read the book of psalm and proverb and listening to your speaches’ make me feel great and thankful for everything i have in life and makes life worth while you touched alot of people and indeed i know god is touching your life each hand every day of your life and i have so much to thank you for but lets just leave it at this “you are a truly wonderful person and god surley did put you on this earth for a purpose.”GOD BLESS you and your family and friends. This is my favorite verse from psalm, Psalm 13 says “How long, Lord? Will you utterly forget me? How long will you hide your face from me?
How long must I carry sorrow in my soul, grief in my heart day after day? How long will my enemy triumph over me?
Look upon me, answer me, Lord, my God! Give light to my eyes lest I sleep in death,
Lest my enemy say, “I have prevailed,” lest my foes rejoice at my downfall.
I trust in your faithfulness. Grant my heart joy in your help, That I may sing of the Lord, “How good our God has been to me!”
-Live and enjoy life,Laugh often,Love more.

Ron,
I saw you by the pool in Maui this last week while we were on a family vacation. We all kind of did our own thing and i didn’t pay too much attention. I remember feeling kind of sorry for you (without knowing your incredible story). I found out later that you spent some time with my Mom who was recently diagnosed with Parkinsons disease and had been dealing with all the emotions that come with that. You were such an encouragement to her and i am so amazed by your story and how God works. You are a true inspiration and an incredible person. God Bless You. Roll on…

what a wake-up call you are . . . what most indeared me to you was that your sentiments reach out to teenagers. My heart cries for our young people. They need, more than discipline, love, and a little bit of our time. A hug, just a hug, a long and sincere hug, that’s what they hunger for, and a little bit of your time, because they have something to say, but we don’t listen. God Bless You . . . you roll-on Ron, and I pray that your message will reach many many young hearts. I am 67 years old, and after I saw your video, i brushed my teeth, jumped in the shower, and embraced every part of my body – it all came to life, this body that complains and procrastinates, came to life. Even my tears came to life. Not because I felt sorry for you, but because you made me feel ashamed of myself. We are all so blessed, and don’t even have a clue. You’re that mustard seed that turned into a tall oak. I love you truly . . . you are definitely under His wing.

Hi Ron, when I’m having a bad day, I can go back and watch your video. Not that I need to, because once you’ve seen it, you never forget it. I really enjoy watching you speak. Your animals bit is so funny, and when you told the part about the boy who couldn’t smile, I damn near lost it . . . I love you as a fellow human being, and if I get a chance to see you speak, I’ll proudly come up and shake your ear or something… as so many have already said… you da-Man! Ron.
I hope that I drive MANY people to your site so that they can get inspired, leave you a little coin, and then come back to my site with the ‘right attitude’ to succeed.
My site Ebizpros.us is about getting people out of the grind. A little ‘Additude’ adjustment, then back on the path to financial prosperity, where they can individually persue their dreams, while helping others, to persue theirs, and so on… I am 45 and I truely believe that it’s the American Way!
Best Wishes…
Todd

It does me good to see someone with so much to give back and you always seem to be looking for something else to do……Keep up the momentum.
I just saw that you’re gonna be driving with your teeth. I’ll be interested to see how that works. My brain can’t quite imagine that far………
I’ve given the videos to my son and am hoping he will get a broader vision for his own future by seeing your enthusiasm for life.

Ron,
I saw you speak a few years ago when I had an insurance and you spoke at a seminar I attended. I don’t remember what year, but I will never forget you. I bought your book which you signed for me, a couple of your painting prints and a couple of smiley faces. I keep the smiley faces on my desk to remind me how lucky I am and to keep a positive attitude. I tell everyone about you and all you have done. I wish I could give more.
Wow, awesome story Bob! I wish everyone had one of my smilies sitting around, even i need a daily reminder. There is always something to smile about if we take time to look outside ourselfs and our problems… Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I appreciate you and continue to pass me along. I look forward to telling more people my stories! God bless you and your family like you have blessed me.

God Bless!

Have a Blessed Day

dear ron, my brother took his own life,a few years later my best friend and sister died of a heart attach. i walked thru life each day in pain, just when i started to smile again my parents died and my older brother shot himself all in a six month period. last week my nephew was told he has brain cancer,he is twentyfour. my marriage ended after twenty years, and there has been much more pain but if i told you you would think this was fiction. every day i wake up hurting and go to bed mostly crying, and i am a believer in Jesus Christ. Thank you for opening my eyes wide enough to see Gods blessings. Tomorrow i will wake up with a smile and go to bed with a song in my heart all because you are a gift from God to me! May our Father Bless You and Your Family Abundantly!!marilyn

Dearest Ron,I’m almost 60, in great health, but life’s not been kind in many ways.I’m writing my life’s story to help buy a farm to get out of the city, and back to my roots. While putting this together,God said to let groups of kids, teens, etc.,come out and have sessions on the farm, with counselours, pastors, etc.to help these kids with their problems.I’ve been helped so much, and want to give back so much.Your attitude is so inspiring,i wish my book were further along.I want God to use me as he has you.God bless you!!From Winston Churchill,”We shall draw from the heart of suffering itself the means of inspiration and survival.”

Ron,the best help i ever think of is Psalm 121:I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, from whence cometh my help.” God bless you and your ministry.

Well Ron it inspiring to hear you speak. In September 2005 I had my back cut open because two bones were pressing on a nerve and I was told to stop working for at least two years. I was told by the doctor their were no guarantees that I may never walk again. Boy was I scared. Like you Ron, I am walking and I am ready to get back to work nothing strenuous. Doc says no heavy lifting, no high reaching and more so I will follow his instructions. I too am blessed to be above ground. Love Your Attitude Queen Pat

A truly inspirational human being. I am amazed and ashamed that I’m not making my life as full, positive as you are. Feeling drained and too tired to do anything after a long day teaching I find it difficult to motivate myself, how dare I when you are achieving so much.
I wish you a lifetime of love and happiness and will remeber you in my prayers. God bless you and your loving family.

RON, WATCHING YOUR VIDEO, YOUR TESTIMONY, HAS GREATLY TOUCHED MY HUSBAND AND ME. MY HUSBAND LOST BOTH HIS LEGS IN 2007. DUE TO VASCULAR PROBLEMS. DO BLOOD FLOW TO THE LEGS. IT HAS BEEN A LONG HARD JOURNEY FOR US. BUT WITH JESUS STRENGTH AND MERCY, WE TAKE ONE DAY AT A TIME.

I always wanted to help others and have but never felt like I was giving of myself and felt the people just didn’t get it, and they expected it. It didn’t leave me with sense of unconditional love. Jeep up the faith anf never give up!!!!!!!!!!!!

I think it is really cool that you can come and talk to everyone even though your lungs are paralized. when you came to my school i was so intterested because you are really cool. my school is jacobsen middle school. i really like your rollonron smily. i also think it is cool that you can talk to everyone that are parlized or handicapped. my teacher was talking about your panting when you turn it upsidown and paint it. The best thing that you did was probaly when you went up the ramp to your college really slow. i just want to say thank you for going to my school and talking so long so thank you.

Do you know or have heard of Johnnie Erickson Tada?
She also paints with her mouth. Paralyzed from the neck
down due to diving into a creek?. She didn’t know it was
shallow! It happened a long time ago and she also has
her own ministry.
Thank you for being open about your life! I need an
attitude adjustment! Thank you for helping me!

I think every worry I had idenified itself in the pictures of my children , husband, life…but a strange thing happened as I lissened to your message…I saw the love, beauty and hope instead of the worry. I will go out today into this world and I will think your way and I will smile today …all day. Thank you for this moment.

Thank You.
God Bless…
Mollie-Joy.. :]

Roll on…

With GOD all things are possible. I was a drunk for 33 yrs. Today I’m the Chairperson for the oldest AA Group in Canada ( The Downtown Group). In 1987 my Mother was Murdered by a boarder she took in ( stabbed 21 times) My wife, Cindy commited suicide because she could’nt take the pain of her Hep C anymore. I’ve come close to death afew times myself. I hit a tree at 90 mph. 2 yrs ago I was burried under 16 tons of clay and dirt. I have a screw in my right ankle from it being crushed. God is good He’s never let me down. I’m a jannitor for my apt. building and I’m on a permanant Disability. I live in a 1 bdr. apt with my dog Corky. The landlord loves me as do the tennants…and believe me when I was drinking nobody loved me I was a mess. I can’t afford to give you money but I’ll ask Jesus to heal you from the crown of your head to the souls of your feet. Thank you for being an inspiration to the world and me.

what a wake-up call you are . . . what most indeared me to you was that your sentiments reach out to teenagers.

Todd

Thanks for sharing your message. I have been recently baptized as a SDA and really love the Lord. I would love to show our congregation your video from Hawaii but we do not have Internet at our small bilingual church. How can I get a copy?
I did embed the video on a blog I have for a non-profit that services children with life-threatening and/or chronic diseases at YosemiteRidge.org
Thanks for what you are doing for the Lord.

Dear Ron
I am a Sri Lankan now living in Australia for the past 13 years. My life is very complicated and today I was in the verge of commiting suicide. Unexpectedly one of the few friends of mine sent your website address. I was instantly inspired and back to normal. Thank you for your good work.

Thank you for coming to Cherry Hills Christian school in Highlands Ranch. I took my 4 children out of public school to come hear you speak. Ron,
I received your videos via email the other day and can’t get you out of my head. My son has been a quad for almost 18 years and spends alot of time in bed because of pressure sores, bone infection, surgery……….you know the drill.
Thanks for being YOU!
May 13th, 2009 at 8:29 pm
Thanks Ron! You are an inspiration to us all and I plan to share your videos and your message with everyone I know. I am in major financial debt right now, so my monthly contribution is small, but I assure you things will turnaround very soon and I will be able to help your cause more. Keep up the good fight!
Thanks again, and god bless you,
Steve D.

Ron,
I saw you speak a few years ago when I had an insurance and you spoke at a seminar I attended.
God Bless you and your family,
Bob Morgan

There is always something to smile about if we take time to look outside ourselfs and our problems… Thank you so much for your kind words and support. I appreciate you and continue to pass me along. I look forward to telling more people my stories! God bless you and your family like you have blessed me.
