Hi Ron,
Your story inspired me. In September 2008 I was laid off. To date I have not found a job. I pray but I really need to make Jesus the centre of my life. I am not physically paralysed but I realise that I am spiritually paralysed and in order to change my attitude which is getting angry, passing the blame onto others and feeling sorry for myself. I need to try hard like you not to get spiritually paralysed. I need to take control of my life and with Jesus as my model try to live my life like Him. I know it will not be easy but I know I can do it, All I need to do is try and have faith in Jesus.Thank you for your inspiration and for making me realise that all is not lost.

Ron, I loved your story. You came to my school today. I know I am just a seventh grader, but I have my problems and challenges to overcome, too. I thought your story was incredible and inspirational. I woke up in a pretty bad mood; you turned it around for me. Thank you for staying strong and NOT committing suicide. So many more people would have been lost without you. I will never give up. I am much more thankful for what I have now. I will thank God every day for giving me what I have. You are truly a role model for me. I love your artwork. I have never been able to do that. You are a lucky man to have such a loving family. Your daughter, Grace Lee, is adorable and I am glad she is not embarrassed by you and doesn’t see you as different or handicapped. I will keep you and your family in my thoughts, heart, and prayers. God Bless you and your family. Please, keep making a difference in the lives of those around you and keep rolling on.

Your e-mail really touched me because many people are paralyzed emotionally. People need to choose to have a better attitude on life in order to move forward and accomplish all the things that they dream of accomplishing.
